ABOUT THIS SOLAR TERM
Liqiu, the first day of autumn in the Chinese 24 Solar Terms calendar. In ancient China, farmers weighed themselves on this day — if you'd grown heavier since the start of summer, the coming harvest promised abundance. It's a celebration of the season's first turning.

THE VESSEL
Undyed, natural cream soy wax in a matte ivory ceramic cup. The ceramic has a soft, warm glaze — a vessel you'll keep long after the candle is gone.

WHY SOY WAX?
Burns up to 50% longer than paraffin, produces no harmful soot, and is biodegradable. Spilled soy wax won't burn your skin the way paraffin can.

SAFETY
Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects, children, and pets. Trim wick to 5mm before each burn. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
